Working at Valley Geotechnical
Harry Angulo is one of our drafters, since joining Valley Geo in September 2020. His job duties include preparing design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil3D. Working at Valley Geo has been an enriching experience for him, helping him grow since both architectural and geotechnical disciplines interrelate with each other in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
When asked about working at Valley Geotechnical;

Education & Experience
Harry has worked in the architectural field for over 6 years, and has also contributed to large civil projects such as port construction and national roads in his home country of Colombia. He completed his 5-year Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at the Universidad del Pacifico at Buenaventura, Colombia. He realized that being an Architect is a combination of professionalism and art, and feels passionate about innovation through drawings and designs because as the saying goes: “a picture is worth a thousand words”. His experience in the architectural and civil engineering fields have raised his interest in enriching his knowledge is other related sectors such as geotechnical engineering.
The advice that he would give to those looking into pursuing their dreams;
“No matter how hard it may seem, dare to do more because you never know the big opportunities that you can achieve. As a president said: ‘Try and fail, but don’t fail to try'”.
Outside of Work
Harry enjoys going to the movies and visiting parks to go for walks. He also likes playing sports including volleyball, soccer, and tennis; listening to music; and dancing at home and outside.
